Meet Megan Kurth, who achieved the impressive accomplishment of becoming a Store Manager at BIG W at the age of 25. Her journey began in 2022 when she joined as the 2IC at BIG W Highpoint. With a solid background in retail, Megan was attracted to BIG W's diverse career opportunities, recognising it as a platform to make a meaningful impact and inspire others.

When Woolworths team member Tamim Faizi fled Afghanistan in 2021, he never imagined the life he’d now be living. Australia, and Woolworths, offered Tamim an opportunity to carve out a new path. Through the assistance of Woolworths’ Refugee Employment Program, Tamim had work with Woolworths within three months, and a vital network to support his transition.

Nina has been a part of the Woolworths New Zealand team for eight years, starting as a checkout operator at 16, she brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role as the Scan Assist Delivery Lead. Nina's primary responsibility is to oversee the successful rollout, implementation, and delivery of an exciting front-end initiative that reduces mistakes at checkout.
