Welcome to Woolworths 360
We’re the national team of 1,000 bright minds designing, developing and innovating the retail stores of the future across construction, operations, sustainability, data, refrigeration, and everything in between. United by a passion for bringing fresh food and great experiences to our customers every day, our ‘Best in, Better out’ mentality guides our decisions and puts customers at the heart of all we do. Every day we’re reimagining and reinventing our stores, innovating new fulfilment processes, and developing simpler, smarter and more sustainable solutions to future proof our network and fight for a healthier planet.
About the role
Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in. You'll work side-by-side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day. As a Trolley Collection Driver, you will collect trolleys in car parks and surrounding streets using a vehicle. To help you with this, you will be fully trained to operate our trolley collection vehicles and undergo an assessment.
What you'll do
- Drive a trolley collection vehicle and collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs
- Push trolleys up a ramp onto the trolley collection vehicle
- Collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the trolley bays
- Carry out all pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle
- Follow all safety and operational processes and procedures related to vehicle operation and trolley collection
- Follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys
- You may also be required to complete cleaning and waste disposal tasks
What you'll bring
- An ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people to a promising role with room to grow your career in the cleaning and trolley collection space and beyond.
- You must hold a full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence, Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or full International drivers Licence
- Physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be transitioning from driving a vehicle to physically collecting and loading trolleys throughout your shift
- Availability to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 4pm
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team
Note: Woolworths Group is an inclusive, team-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential. If you meet some, but not all of the requirements above, we urge you to please still submit your application.
What you'll experience

- Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work
