What you’ll do

  • Manage all transport operations safely and compliantly, including Secondary Freight Transport planning and execution.
  • Accountable for end-to-end store service delivery and operational execution across the region, seamlessly managing the interface between DCs, transport hubs, 3PLs, and retail stores
  • Create and maintain positive partnerships with 3PL transport providers, improving operational efficiency and ensuring contractual obligations are met.
  • Lead, coach and develop a direct team of Transport Supervisors and Coordinators promoting collaborative, safe and continuous improvement culture.
  • Manage peak season events and contingency plans, ensuring business continuity.
  • Champion a "Safety-First" culture by promoting high safety standards, managing site transport incidents, and ensuring compliance with CoR, OH&S, and RTW legislation.


What you’ll bring

  • Success in leading transport operations and service delivery across multi-site networks in FMCG, Retail, or Distribution environments.
  • Collaborative leadership style, with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and OH&S guidelines.
  • Financial acumen and confidence in managing operational budgets.
  • Flexibility to coordinate operations across a 7-day rotating roster pattern.
