Transport Load Planner - Moorebank
- 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
- Shift Pattern: 3am - 2:30pm working 3 days to 4 days on including weekends

The new state-of-the-art facility will service over 1000 supermarkets nationwide with more than 12,000 product lines.
With the capacity to move 2.3 million cartons each week, this 44,900 sqm facility - equivalent to almost three times the size of the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) - will strengthen Primary Connect’s national supply chain.
What you’ll do
As an integral role in the supply chain, once the orders for the stores are created the transport load planners build loads (7 days a week) to enable the Moorebank RDC to commence operations and pick orders as well as providing guidance to carrier partners of routes/loads required to be serviced on the day.
This is a time critical function with the entire MoRDC supply chain dependent on this role completing the task in a timely manner.
- Enable store delivery transport execution for the Moorebank RDC.
- Allocate and dispatch deliveries, providing guidance to carrier partners on routes/load for 235 supermarkets and metro stores.
- Build and Optimise routes within strict time to ensure workflow to the MoRDC
- Monitor Chain of Responsibility safety processes.
- Manage timely despatches from the Moorebank RDC to stores.
- Perform daily transport planning using the Transport Management System (TMS).
- Adhere to strict service level agreements to prevent impacts on DCs and stores.
- Plan all order types, including IWTs, 3PL (Lineage) Regional customers, and Primary Connect load tenders.
- Communicate all planning changes to the DC and 3PL (Lineage).
- Investigate causes and impacts related to safety, cost, or service performance.
What you’ll bring
- Exceptional time management skills and be able to work to strict service level agreement to ensure no impact to DCs and stores.
- Transport and logistics experience
- Excellent systems and computer skills, with the knowledge of routing/optimisation software & NSW suburbs
- Good communication skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- FMCG Supply chain experience
- Excellent knowledge of the Sydney metropolitan area, suburbs and road networks in the region
- Availability to work weekends
