What you’ll do

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join Primary Connect. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager - Store Delivery, you will be an integral player in providing decision support and business partnering for the QLD store delivery team. 

  • Lead performance reporting for Primary Connect's QLD store delivery, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, and provide analytical support to the QLD Transport manager

  • Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, defining solutions to automate and enhance reporting, and promoting an agile and growth mindset

  • Develop strong internal business partnerships across freight, logistics, DC, and business teams to facilitate information flow and deliver insights

  • Manage the month-end, forecasting, and budgeting processes for QLD Transport, taking ownership of financial results and reporting

  • Support strategic planning and budget setting for the QLD Basin, driving the cadence process to understand key performance drivers and partnering on joint initiatives

  • Support the Larapinta Regional Distribution Center with ad hoc analysis, including cost recovery opportunities


What you’ll bring

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally with CA/CPA

  • Strong commercial focus, proven experience in delivering insights, driving improvements and building relationships with both the wider business and customers

  • Strong data analysis, financial analysis, modelling, and forecasting skills with the ability to summarize high volumes of data

  • Experience with EOM, budget/strategy processes, and systems such as TM1, SAP, and GCP is desirable

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and influence others to do the same, demonstrating attention to detail while maintaining a view of the big picture

  • Supply chain experience is highly desirable
