What you’ll do | Hei mahi

The Transformation Consultant is a pivotal role within our dynamic Transformation team, playing a key role in supporting strategic transformation initiatives within Woolworths NZ, ensuring that we achieve our business goals. You will be actively involved in a range of transformation initiatives, applying your knowledge and expertise to drive successful outcomes.


Specifically, the role will see you:

  • Support end-to-end transformation initiatives, with a particular focus on designing and delivering change management approaches, supporting operating model design and delivery, ways of working and transformation programme delivery. 
  • Enable Strategy and Transformation leaders and key business stakeholders to help define strategic priorities, develop implementation plans, and manage the execution of transformation initiatives
  • Assist in the coordination and management of aspects of our transformation journey, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • Work closely with senior leaders across our business, responsible for supporting and delivering on key transformation initiatives


What you’ll bring | Hei koha

To be successful in this position, you will bring:

  • A solid knowledge of Change Management methodologies and experience designing and delivering change
  • Experience in end-to-end transformation programmes with large enterprise organisations or government entities, and you may have experience in a Big 4 or another consulting organisation
  • Experience in operating model design and delivery (which may include; process / service design, workforce management / organisational design, implementation planning and roadmapping, business case development, business capability modelling, business and technology requirements gathering / documentation)
  • Experience in Agile ways of working within a large matrix organisation 
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
