- Drive Quality Strategy: Take a lead role in planning, designing, and implementing effective testing strategies for new features and products.
- Build Robust Automation: Design, develop, and maintain our scalable test automation suite using modern frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Collaborate and Embed: Work as a true partner within your cross-functional squad, collaborating daily with developers and product managers in planning, design, and code review sessions.
- Champion "Shift-Left" Testing: Proactively identify quality risks early in the development process, influencing design and requirements long before code is written.
- Coach and Empower: Act as the team's quality conscience, mentoring developers on writing effective unit and integration tests and championing a "whole team" approach to quality.
- Innovate and Improve: Continuously refine our quality processes and enhance the integration of automated testing within our CI/CD pipeline.
What you’ll bring | Hei koha
We're looking for someone who is not only technically skilled but also a fantastic collaborator and communicator. You are passionate about building quality in, not just testing it at the end. You thrive in a highly collaborative environment and can clearly articulate the "why" behind quality practices to both technical and non-technical team members. You see yourself as a quality coach as much as a hands-on tester.
To be great in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Proven Test Automation Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Strong Coding Foundations: Proficiency in a programming language used for testing (strong skills in C#/.NET are highly desirable). You write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Solid experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- API Testing Experience: A strong understanding of and practical experience in testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, RestSharp, or similar.
- Bonus points if you have: Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as NBomber, JMeter, or K6.
