What you'll do

As the Technology Partner Manager, you will be establishing and driving consistent governance for vendor, contract, and commercial management across all IT domains, while also leading the ongoing contractual activities and providing expert coaching to internal teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all contract operations, particularly for application development and maintenance services, providing company-wide advice and coaching internal domain teams on commercial matters.
  • Support all sourcing activities, including vendor negotiations, and the development or variation of nominated partner contracts.
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including providing recommendations and ensuring the completion of all cyclical events, extensions, variations, and new engagements.
  • Drive optimization of all contract elements, encompassing commercial, performance, and compliance outcomes.
  • Support supplier performance and compliance activities, including the calculation and application of service credits associated with non-performance.
  • Fulfill all commercial and contract accountabilities associated with Contract Management and Supplier Governance Frameworks, and facilitate engagement with Group Procurement and Legal teams where necessary.


What you'll bring

  • Demonstrable and solid experience in the Information Technology Commercial field, inclusive of expert management of technology sourcing, commercial arrangements, contract terms and associated financials.
  • A strong track record in IT Commercial environment administration (Sales, Procurement, Vendor Management, or Finance) within a matrixed organization.
  • Proven ability to independently manage large-scale outsourced contracts that include core offshoring elements.
  • Expertise in supporting and driving transformational change, adopting new agile ways of working, and good knowledge of agile frameworks, including Dev/Ops methodologies, in an outsourced environment.
  • Ability to effectively support large Procurement activities, including complex vendor negotiations and contractual terms, and possessing a Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, law, or a related discipline.
