The Opportunity
We are the Centralised ticketing Team, a diverse, collaborative and innovative team who enjoy working together to deliver quality solutions. We strive to understand our customer needs with a thoughtful, open minded and considered approach, to ensure our solutions are robust, future proofed and fit for purpose. This role is the critical bridge between business vision and technical execution. As a key liaison, you will translate complex business needs into actionable requirements that redefine our processes, policies, and systems. You aren’t just documenting needs; you are ensuring that every solution delivered creates tangible value. From conducting feasibility analysis to validating final test scenarios, you will own the lifecycle of change, ensuring our technology evolves in perfect alignment with our strategic goals.
What you’ll do
Define scope and prioritise requirements for initiatives ranging from simple to complex, using constructive challenges to ensure clarity and eliminate omissions.
Evaluate potential solutions by conducting rigorous feasibility assessments and developing robust business cases with clear cost/benefit and risk analysis. Provide consulting type services acting as subject matter expert within various sized Project teams.
Analyse the requirements, and coordinate the various development teams, configuration and QA estimations,documentation, approvals, and resources required to bring the solution to life. Manage the enhancement from end to end within the agreed ways of working.
Understand the complex rules and configurations that drive accuracy of our solution
Lead formal assessments and audits to ensure strict adherence to organisational standards and regulatory compliance.
Provide expert guidance on specialised planning and operations, bridging the gap between niche technical knowledge and organizational goals.
Elicit complex user stories and resolve conflicting requirements to define measurable criteria for usability, accessibility, and design excellence.
Guide the adoption of tools and methods, contributing to processes to improve efficiency while ensuring team-wide adherence to standards.
Working with our QA team, execute test scenarios based on pre-defined criteria to validate that delivered solutions meet all security and functional requirements.
Coach and Mentor team members, internal and external to the immediate team to upskill and ensure that the knowledge is passed on.
Proactively manage stakeholder relationships, resolving issues through data-driven feedback and implementing corrective actions for any non-compliance.
What You’ll Bring
Over 3 years of experience delivering results in a large-scale, complex business environment.
Specialised knowledge of Retail operations and WoW store applications (highly desirable).
Proven ability to collaborate with and influence diverse stakeholders to drive optimal solution design.
Practical experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative value.
Skilled in drafting high-quality Epics and User Stories that translate business needs into technical tasks.
Expert user of Jira and Confluence for documenting complex user flows and maintaining project transparency.
A tertiary degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or Economics, providing a strong analytical and problem-solving framework.
Ability to visualise and document end-to-end user journeys to ensure seamless system integration.
Ability to grasp a detailed understanding of our solution end to end. Its complex,its highly visible and critical to maintaining Customer Trust.
Exceptional communication skills - both verbal and written. The ability to clearly articulate to stakeholders with varying levels of technical understanding.
The ability to identify and document in detail the various nuances of the various pricing mechanics, as well as thorough documentation of all decisions and outcomes.
