What you’ll do
- Lead the development and coordination of key Supply Chain initiatives, integrating input from cross-functional stream leads (e.g., Systems/IT, DC Design, Finance).
- Partner with senior business leaders, up to Group Exco level, and align all key stakeholders to ensure support and successful adoption of initiatives.
- Develop comprehensive solutions, including modelling options, operating models, financials, and detailed business cases for Board or funding approval.
- Lead approved initiatives, guiding project teams to ensure delivery aligns with the intended solution and objectives, while complying with governance frameworks.
- Drive Process Optimisation for distribution center (DC) operations and proactively manage risks associated with infrastructure projects and solution roll-outs.
What you’ll bring
- Deep Industry Experience: 8-12 years in supply chain, logistics, or network infrastructure, with proven leadership in the design and delivery of large-scale, complex infrastructure projects, ideally in retail or FMCG.
- Transformation & Analysis: Expertise in optional analysis, business case development, financial analysis, and managing transformation and change.
- Technical Acumen: Conversant in technical inputs for initiative development, including DC Design, IT Infrastructure and Systems, Transport, Automation, and Property Development.
- Data and Presentation Skills: Exceptional analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights and "story-tell" through data with clarity.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage, influence, and negotiate with senior stakeholders (internal and external) across all organizational levels.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Strong competency in leading and collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams (e.g., DC Design, IT, Property) while maintaining a strategic view of the big picture.
