If you’re excited to turn today’s blue sky thinking into a better tomorrow for future generations, you’ll find yourself supported and enriched in a dynamic, inclusive and empowering workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve. With a culture of genuine care, a flexible approach to work and opportunities across the group to grow your career and make a meaningful impact, the possibilities for what we can achieve together are endless.

The Opportunity

Partner with Procurement Portfolio and BU teams to support the identification and delivery of an annual productivity pipeline, covering Goods Not For Resale (GNFR) external 3rd party OPEX and CAPEX expenditure.

The role exists within the GNFR Strategic Projects team within Group Procurement, in place to drive value and operational excellence throughout Business Units through an internal consulting style service that leverages internal and external analysis, leading practice insights, business case development and delivery excellence.

Ultimately the team supports the Business Units to achieve their Annual Operating Plan (AOP) productivity targets.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end portfolio management and delivery of complex, group-wide cost optimisation and transformation programs.
  • Spearhead business process optimisation and re-engineering (To-Be design, gap/bottleneck analysis) focused on cost reduction and efficiency gains.
  • Drive strategic problem-solving and ideation using structured frameworks to define opportunities, quantify benefits, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Act as Project Lead to scope, plan, and secure cross-functional stakeholder buy-in for initiatives, defining clear delivery milestones.
  • Establish and maintain robust project governance (reporting, steering committees) to monitor performance, manage risks, and ensure delivery against commercial targets.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships as a trusted advisor and provide formal/informal people management and career development to team members.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role, ideally with prior or current experience at a Management Consulting firm (Consultant/Manager level).
  • Demonstrated success in managing multi-million dollar, end-to-end process re-engineering and transformation projects across large, complex organisations.
  • Strong project/program management skills coupled with a well-developed consulting and problem-solving toolkit.
  • Proven ability to build credibility, influence senior stakeholders, and effectively manage complex business partnerships.
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business Administration, or a relevant professional accreditation (e.g., MCIPS).
  • Expertise across a broad range of indirect spend categories or process areas (e.g., Facilities Management, IT & Digital, Brand & Marketing).

What you’ll experience

  • Hybrid Flexibility: Blend in-office engagement with work-from-home opportunities for a balanced work week.
  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
  • Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers plus paid superannuation for up to 12 months while the Team Member is on parental leave - eligible from the first day of employment
