This role balances technical mastery with active collaboration. You will translate initial concepts from our project managers, space management teams, and external consultants into actionable blueprints used directly for site construction, equipment production, and installation.
Key responsibilities include:
Create detailed 2D layouts and 3D models (machinery, components, minor structures) using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit.
Turn initial sketches and specifications into accurate, actionable store implementation plans.
Modify existing plans dynamically based on feedback from site managers, engineers, and project teams.
Maintain comprehensive FreshChoice brand design documentation and complex layouts.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, Woolworths design personnel, and architects to resolve spatial challenges.
Conduct site visits across the network to gather precise data and troubleshoot live layout issues.
Attend key meetings to collaborate with stakeholders and align with project deliverables.
Review all concepts and drawings prior to submission for strict quality control and error prevention.
Guarantee all designs adhere to health, safety, building regulations, format specs, and sustainability goals.
Maintain organized, centralized records of all design iterations and blueprints in the database.
