What you’ll do
- Research Strategy: Identify research needs, prioritise, and manage research initiatives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across various disciplines (Design, Product, Marketing, Experimentation, Strategy).
- Research Execution: Conduct research projects supporting all stages of the product design process (ideation to evaluation).
- Conducting research using HCD methods and techniques to uncover opportunities and latent customer needs
- Communication and Dissemination: Effectively communicate research findings to stakeholders with varying needs.
- Generate actionable insights that both fuel ideation and evaluate product experiences
- Manage research operations, including research processes, participant recruitment, and research tooling.
- Keep abreast of current UX developments and new methodologies
- Mentor and advocate for our UX HCD thinking methods and best practices across a mature design practice
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in UX Research, Service Design, or UX Design with a strong research focus
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
- Mixed Methods Abilities: Expertise and focus in qualitative research methods with an ability to conduct quantitative research.
- Human-Centred Design: Applied knowledge of Human-Centred Design principles.
- Collaboration: Experience collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills, with an engaging presentation style.
