The Opportunity

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis and definition of complex technical solutions that align with strategic business objectives. You will drive collaboration across multiple teams, business units, and vendors, ensuring the alignment of requirements and successful delivery of large-scale digital products and services. You will be a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts.

What you’ll do

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements.

• Analyse business processes and identify improvements.

• Design technical solutions with cross-functional teams.

• Support the delivery of requirements

• Own the squad backlog

• Financial management and preparation of cost estimates for stakeholders

• Create user stories and acceptance criteria.

• Support testing and implementation with quality engineers.

• Perform data analysis and reporting for informed decisions.

• Prioritise and groom the backlog with stakeholders.

• Serve as a mentor and point of reference for other Technical Business Analysts. 

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant portion in a senior role within a digital or technology-driven environment.

• Experience managing financials and being able to prepare cost estimates for stakeholders

• Proven experience working with a cross functional set of stakeholders including Product, Business, Engineering and Delivery. 

• Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle)

• Advanced technical requirements elicitation and analysis skills.

• Process analysis and improvement expertise.

• Solution design and documentation proficiency.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Database and SQL familiarity.

• API and integration understanding.
