The Opportunity

As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis and definition of complex technical solutions that align with strategic business objectives. You will be a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to other Business Analysts.

What you’ll do

  • Elicit and Document Business and Technical  Requirements: Lead complex workshops, interviews, and other discovery activities to gather and document comprehensive business requirements, user needs, and functional and non-functional specifications for major projects.
  • Analyse Business Processes: Analyse existing business processes, identify pain points, and recommend improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Drive Solution Design: Take ownership in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, and product managers, to lead the design of complex technical solutions that align with business strategies and ensure designs meet strategic business requirements and user needs.
  • Create User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Translate technical requirements into detailed technical user stories and acceptance criteria, including performance and security considerations.
  • Support Testing & Implementation: Support the testing and implementation of clear acceptance criteria, in collaboration with Quality Engineers to ensure effective and high quality delivery
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Drive data-informed product and technology decisions by working with Product and Business stakeholders, leading complex data analysis and providing strategic insights.
  • Backlog Prioritisation and Grooming: Work with business and product stakeholders to ensure a healthy backlog. A healthy backlog is a prioritised set of stories with enough detail for technology teams to execute at any point in time
