What you'll do
As the Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis and definition of complex technical solutions that align with strategic business objectives. Work to drive collaboration across multiple teams, business units, and vendors, ensuring the alignment of requirements and successful delivery of large-scale digital products and services.
Elicit and Document Business and Technical Requirements: Lead complex workshops, interviews, and other discovery activities to gather and document comprehensive business requirements, user needs, and functional and non-functional specifications for major projects.
Analyse Business Processes: Analyse existing business processes, identify pain points, and recommend improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Drive Solution Design: Take ownership in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, developers, and product managers, to lead the design of complex technical solutions that align with business strategies and ensure designs meet strategic business requirements and user needs.
Support Testing & Implementation: Support the testing and implementation of clear acceptance criteria, in collaboration with Quality Engineers to ensure effective and high quality delivery
Data Analysis and Reporting: Drive data-informed product and technology decisions by working with Product and Business stakeholders, leading complex data analysis and providing strategic insights.
Backlog Prioritisation and Grooming: Work with business and product stakeholders to ensure a healthy backlog. A healthy backlog is a prioritised set of stories with enough detail for technology teams to execute at any point in time. In addition to creation of User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Translate technical requirements into detailed technical user stories and acceptance criteria, including performance and security considerations.
What you’ll bring
Possessing 5+ years of demonstrable Business Analyst experience, preferably within a digital or technology-focused setting. You will demonstrate the below:
Proven experience working with Agile methodologies.
Experience working with a cross functional set of stakeholders including Product, Business, Engineering and Delivery.
Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle)
Strong collaboration and communication skills and ability to build strong business relationships
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
