Through this partnership, the wiq team harnesses the best of Woolworths Group and Quantium data science and analytics talent to reimagine retail by solving the most complex problems using AI and analytics. As a team, we leverage Agile ways of working to help our team develop their skills while also making sure our team is focusing on solving the most complex problems for both our customers and team.
What you’ll do:
Sitting with the Digital Trade and Commercial Insights COE supporting the Food eCom Business Unit, the remit of the Senior Analyst will be broad, working across customer, digital and commercial analytics. Responsibilities include measuring, tracking and optimising the performance of marketing campaigns and/or merchandising and trade activities, delivering actionable insights to drive our eCommerce business. You will work closely with key stakeholders in a strategic capacity guiding the direction of analytics as well as wider business initiatives.
- Transform analytical output into actionable insights - synthesising across customer, commercial, and digital insights
- Build reports and customised data models/dashboards to track & evaluate performance of commercial activities such campaigns & promotions, proof of concepts (POC), and more
- Support stakeholders with strategic insights identified through deep dives, test and learn all supported with data and influence the direction of the eCommerce business
- Collaborate with BI team on dashboard requirements, use cases, and designs
- Prioritise and respond to ad-hoc analytical requests from internal stakeholders
- Be an advocate of analytics and collaborate within the Digital Trade & Commercial Insights CoE to promote knowledge sharing
What you’ll bring:
Ability to drive insights from data and present data to different sets of stakeholders as well as working knowledge of Advanced analytical skills such as A/B testing and regression.
- 4+ years of experience working as an insights/customer/data analyst. A background in ecommerce is highly preferred. Commercial and digital analysis experience is a bonus
- Desired degree in a quantitative area e.g. Actuarial, Maths / Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science etc is preferred
- Strong data visualisation and communication skills (both written & verbal)
- Strong SQL, data analysis, Python, and modelling skills. Experience with BigQuery, Tableau, and Looker Studio highly desirable
- Comfortable working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
