What you’ll do

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join our Advanced Analytics team. We are a future-focused team building the processes and solutions to support the mandate of the Pricing & Customer Value team

The purpose of this role is to sit at the intersection of business and technology. You will use your technical expertise and commercial acumen to drive process improvements, design data-led solutions, and translate complex needs into clear, actionable outcomes.

  • Framing problems, gathering and analysing complex data, and developing end-to-end insights and recommendations
  • Injecting analytical rigour and innovative thinking into the issues the team faces, proactively finding opportunities to add value through process automation and improvement
  • Leveraging new technologies and methodologies to find novel solutions to our problems, including basic agent building and AI-assisted rapid development to prototype and deploy solutions via a variety of user interfaces
  • Supporting the day-to-day needs of team members when it comes to navigating advanced analytics challenges within GCP, BigQuery, Python, and other modern tech stacks

What you’ll bring

We are looking for a Senior Analyst adept in advanced analytics and data engineering concepts, paired with a solid foundation in stakeholder management and communication.

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Advanced Analytics or Commercial Analytics roles, preferably in a fast-paced retail, tech, or FMCG environment
  • Deep commercial understanding with the ability to think end-to-end about business processes, identifying bottlenecks, and building data-driven solutions
  • Advanced SQL skills specifically with BigQuery and GCP complemented with solid understanding of data pipes and data engineering concepts
  • Practical knowledge of basic AI agent building and AI assisted rapid development, front and back end, Python proficiency highly preferred
  • Keen to explore novel and innovative solutions to problems, rapidly proving or disproving concepts and turning experimental outcomes into sustainable solutions
  • Ability to transition successful initiatives into longer-term solution, covering documentation, knowledge transfer to BAU teams, and codebase handover
  • Demonstrate ability to make pragmatic calls based on feasibility and ecosystem maturity. Knowing when to push a concept forward, hand it off, rescope it, or cancel it based on sound evidence
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of establishing strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders sometimes in environments with conflicting priorities
  • Strong prioritization skills, the ability to deliver at pace, and adaptability in a challenging, future-focused environment

What you’ll experience

We embrace diversity of thought and love to take on challenges with a pragmatic and innovative approach. Our culture thrives on mutual respect, care, curiosity, openness, and a proactive attitude. We continually seek ways to pair, collaborate, support, and learn from each other as a team!

  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
  • Access to Sonder.  Sonder provides free confidential 24/7 personalised financial, medical safety, psychological or physical support for team members and their families.
