What you’ll do
As the Sales Plan Lead (Fresh and Events/Projects), you architect the promotional strategy, ensuring market-leading, customer-centric offers and flawless execution across Fresh and Grocery. You manage all key off-locations for a cohesive seasonal narrative. The role demands commercial acumen, people leadership, and a future-focused approach to retail technology.
Partner with Commercial, Trade Support, Replenishment, and Marketing leads to design and execute sales plans that drive growth for Fresh and Grocery portfolios, ensuring alignment with broader business strategy.
Ensure all off location plans elevate key trade-driving priorities to deliver market share and establish long-term customer price trust.
Rigorously analyse event sales plan performance. Use data to identify what worked and what didn't—transforming raw numbers into actionable commercial strategies for future events.
Lead the integration of Automation and AI tools into the planning workflow. Streamline repetitive tasks and use predictive modeling to improve the accuracy and efficiency of promotional cycles.
Navigate and influence stakeholders at all levels of management, providing clear rationale for strategic shifts and ensuring cross-functional buy-in.
Ensure all sales plans are published with 100% accuracy and on-time. Conduct regular store visits to audit execution, gathering "ground-truth" feedback to refine future processes.
What you’ll bring
Expert at navigating high-stakes negotiations and aligning senior leadership (Commercial, Marketing, and Ops) to bridge commercial goals with promotional strategy.
Proven ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights while leveraging AI and automation to modernize retail planning processes.
Exceptional organizational skills to manage high-volume categories and direct support team workflows with precision and efficiency.
An uncompromising eye for detail that ensures error-free sales plans and maintains "Price Trust" through accurate shelf-edge execution.
A self-starter with the initiative to anticipate market shifts and pivot strategies before they impact store-floor operations.
What you’ll experience
A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline - with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
A commitment to flexibility through a hybrid working model which combines time spent at a support office or hub and time working from home, supporting both in-person connection and balancing the flexibility that remote working provides for our teams.
Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
