The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our Everyday X Finance team to support our Gift Cards and Everyday Pay business . You will be part of shaping our reporting, insights and process improvements, and being a trusted partner to the Gift Cards team.
This role will primarily focus on facilitating and leading the financial oversight, insights for Gift Cards to shape both EverydayX, WooliesX and overall Woolworths Group strategy. The role will take ownership and commercial / strategic support to deliver Smart growth and CODB opportunity for our service partners.
What you'll do:
- Financial Oversight: Lead reporting, forecasting, and budget setting for Gift Cards and EDP, ensuring data-driven insights support Everyday X strategy and OKRs.
- Strategic Initiatives: Manage key service initiatives and CODB improvements by providing fact-based impact analysis to drive commercial decisions and new product growth.
- Business Partnering: Act as a primary finance partner for Gifting and EDP teams, influencing cross-vertical decisions through a deep understanding of business drivers.
- Performance Leadership: Facilitate disciplined business reviews and "ways of working" to ensure efficient timelines, stakeholder engagement, and cost-effectiveness.
- Process Innovation: Drive a growth mindset to improve end-to-end finance effectiveness, innovating processes and engagement through agile and creative thinking.
- Actionable Insights: Transform complex data into actionable value-add insights that improve business performance and define how teams evaluate financial impacts.
What you'll bring
- Qualifications: 4–5 years of post-CA/CPA experience, preferably within the Gift Cards industry.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to think end-to-end (E2E) across the Woolworths ecosystem to align with broader strategic goals.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in SAP, GCP, Excel, and Google Applications to manage and model high volumes of data.
- Analytical Excellence: Highly commercial and resourceful problem-solver capable of delivering creative, data-driven results.
- Communication: Strong storyboarding and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex financial info for any audience.
- Operational Mindset: Proactive, continuous-improvement approach with the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
