The Opportunity
At Woolworths, we believe in putting our customers and team members first. This Risk Analyst role sits within the Risk Advisory Squad, which is part of the Group Risk Enablement Tribe.
You will contribute to the delivery of the Group Risk Platform ambition of: Helping Woolworths to be confident today and ready for tomorrow and the Tribe mission to: Deliver and scale group-wide risk solutions and services, for today and tomorrow.
What you’ll do
- Assist in the design, build and implementation of fit for purpose risk frameworks and tools, which help better manage risk and enable leaders to make better decisions
- Conduct risks assessments and risk analysis on risks and initiatives at both Group and Business level
- Contribute to the Squad’s (and broader Risk team) overall capability, expertise and training in risk management
- Contribute to Squad meetings, discussions and planning
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, keeping them engaged and informed
- Contribute to broader Tribe and Platform initiatives, partnering with other Squads and teams
What you’ll bring
- Risk Management Skills: Understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and draw conclusions to support risk assessments.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to approach challenges with a critical eye and propose solutions to address risk issues.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex risk information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues and fostering a positive and supportive atmosphere.
- Adaptability and Agility: Ability to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
