About us


Construction is now well underway for our new Sydney Chilled and Fresh Distribution Center (SC&F). Located in Eastern Creek NSW SC&F is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 75,000sqm multi-story facility will transform our chilled and fresh operations in Sydney, ensuring we deliver exceptional freshness, quality and range to our customers


What you’ll do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive reliability maintenance strategy (predictive, preventive and corrective) alongside our third party maintenance providers. 

  • Oversee and administer the Residential Service Agreement, ensuring key vendors and equipment suppliers meet KPIs through active monitoring and weekly/monthly performance reviews. 

  • Lead, mentor and develop a dedicated onsite team fostering an environment of open communication and high performance. 

  • Spearhead asset performance initiatives, utilising Root Cause Analysis to eliminate recurring failures and chronic underperformance. 

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the broader operations team, guiding them on Total Productive Maintenance principles 

  • Partner with planning and operations teams to balance required downtime with store service levels, while actively contributing to R&M budgeting, forecasting and CapEx processes. 



What you’ll bring


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in reliability engineering or maintenance management, ideally within automated distribution centers, logistics or advanced manufacturing environments. 

  • Robust knowledge of reliability engineering principles, including Reliability Centered Maintenance, Total Productive Maintenance, and Condition Based Monitoring.

  • Proficiency with reliability software tools (such as CMMS or EAM) data analysis techniques and standard RCA methodologies. 

  • A proven track record of managing contractors, commercial service agreements and complex external vendor relationships
