What you'll do
As a Psychological Technical Specialist within our Wellbeing Chapter, you'll be the SME in all things wellbeing, psychological injury, recovery, and psychosocial risk prevention in this 12-month contract. You'll work across our agile teams, providing recommendations and support, to ensure our team members have genuinely caring experiences.
Managing a caseload of psychological injury claims, providing expert recovery support
Providing expert psychological advice for InjuryCare Partners on wellbeing and claims strategies
Delivering cross-functional support and tailored strategies for complex team member wellbeing needs
Building capability in specialist teams on wellbeing and psychological aspects, including continuous improvement initiatives within InjuryCare & capability uplift to People and Team Matters/Employee Relations teams
Contributing subject-matter expertise to projects and programs aimed at harm prevention and wellbeing support
Support with reporting, data, timelines & trends within the Woolworths ecosystem
What you'll bring
- Tertiary qualification in mental health with ideally 5+ years' relevant occupational experience (psychology, occupational therapy, mental health or equivalent)
- Human-centred approach, leveraging expertise and best practices
- Experience relaying complex information into actionable insights, solving problems collaboratively and calmly under pressure
- Knowledge of workers' compensation and injury management
- Knowledge of workplace wellbeing drivers and psychosocial risk mitigation strategies with hands-on support experience
- Proven ability to influence, build relationships, and deliver change within a fast-paced, adaptable environment
