Woolworths Property is accountable for all property undertakings of the Woolworths Group and provides comprehensive, proactive property solutions to support the existing retail businesses and their future growth.
The Australian Property Management function is part of the Woolworths Property Group and exists to strategically grow the trading businesses through the delivery of the best property network for our customers in a geographic location.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a detail-driven, enthusiastic Property Portfolio Manager to join the team. Reporting to a Senior Property Manager within the State Team you will assist in strategically growing the trading supermarket business through the delivery of new stores and optimisation of existing network together support the retail operations team through effective and professional property management duties.This role is based at the National Support Office in Bella Vista, NSW.
What you’ll do
Manage daily property operations, coordinating with landlords and internal teams.
Identify and implement store amenity improvements for customers and staff.
Support the Store Renewal Plan, including strategy documentation and delivery, and negotiate owner contributions.
Prepare timely and accurate business case submissions with alternative scenarios
Ensure lease structures align with negotiation criteria and monitor landlord obligations.
Cultivate landlord relationships and resolve lease administration and store-related issues.
What you’ll bring
Minimum of 2+ years of commercial property experience and relevant market knowledge.
A degree in Property, Business, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience in business planning, financial management, budgeting, communication, influence, and negotiation.
Commercially astute with an understanding of landlord/tenant issues and NSW/ACT planning systems.
Customer-focused with a passion for improving business patronage.
Proven ability to build strong relationships, be a positive team member, and present well-justified proposals.
