The Opportunity
As we embark on a significant Finance Systems Transformation journey, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team. This role will lead the day-to-day stakeholder engagement, finance transformation and project management to ensure the successful delivery of key projects. As an experienced Project Manager, you will be supporting the planning, management, coordination and financial control of the various workstreams, working closely with the relevant leads.
The Program will enhance and uplift our systems to be fit-for-purpose for the wide range of businesses we operate, and future-focused in terms of delivering insights and value for the broader Woolworths Group.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, resources and project deliverables
- Manage and lead one or more workstreams in order to successfully deliver projects on time and according to the quality requirements
- Monitor and control each phase and steps of project implementation
- Identify and report project issues and project risks to the relevant individuals
- Find solutions to mitigate and/or minimise project risks and other issues
- Prepare and deliver project management deliverables, including meeting minutes and reports, to the appropriate steering committee or equivalent forum
What you’ll bring:
- Project delivery experience in a large, multi-brand organisation, utilising technology to uplift Financial capabilities
- End-to-end experience working on high value, complex projects
- A strong track record in leading and delivering quality outcomes
- Experience in both Finance and Technology functions along with Project Management capabilities
- Demonstrated experience in system implementations (ideally ERPs and EPMs)
- Experience delivering company-wide Finance Consolidation (ideally OneStream), External Finance Reporting, and Integrated Planning.
