We have an exciting opportunity within our Team Experience Tribes and are looking Portfolio Engagement Lead - Careers Solutions These pivotal roles play a key role in transforming how we design and deliver career solutions, both foundation strategic priorities that need to be activated across our businesses, as well as leading fit-for-purpose career business solutions.

What you'll do

As the Portfolio Engagement Lead, you will act as a strategic engagement partner/consultant to orchestrate design and delivery of solutions within the business portfolio.  You will ensure the unlock of our technology investments, step changing career journeys and experiences for our team, you will also: 

  • Collaborate closely with the People Directors and Leads enabling them to allocate their capacity to co-create solutions that directly meet the unique needs 

  • Streamline interactions between the Careers Tribe and relevant Practices and Business Value Teams creating a more efficient and intuitive approach whilst removing duplication 

  • Build strong partnering relationships and deep engagement to achieve mutual goals and foster trust 

  • Deeply understand business strategies and business portfolio people plans. Shape, plan and prioritise outcomes and solutions required to enable strategy

  • Lead the design and implementation of connected roadmaps for the designated portfolio, ensuring alignment between initiatives and business requirements

  • Lead the integrated delivery of work across the squads within Career Business.


What you’ll bring

Bringing your strategic thinking, problem solving skills and commercial acumen while applying sound judgement. You are also highly skilled in orchestration and delivery of outcomes whilst navigating multiple stakeholders and diverse perspectives to achieve common goals, you will also bring: 

  • Strong consulting background, analytical, and diagnostic skills highly desirable

  • Strong understanding of agile models, frameworks and agility in solutioning

  • Collaborative and commercial partnering approach with the ability to ‘hold the tension’ in prioritisation and solutioning to achieve win-win outcomes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to frame complex information in a simple way to enable decision making and gain alignment

  • Anticipate and remove roadblocks and impediments to delivery, identifying and mitigating risks 

  • Apply human centred design principles to solutioning with strong understanding of careers trends and team experience career journeys
