We have an exciting opportunity within our Team Experience Tribes for a Portfolio Engagement Lead - Careers Solutions. This role is pivotal in transforming how we design and deliver career solutions across our business portfolios.
What you'll do | Hei mahi
As the Portfolio Engagement Lead WWNZ, you will be the strategic engagement partner who orchestrates the design and delivery of career solutions unique to our NZ business. You will also make a significant contribution to the solutioning, design and deployment of group wide initiatives ensuring they are activated and embedded effectively with our NZ leaders and teams.
You will lead the portfolio squad team members in clearly defining the problem statement, identifying dependencies and risks and articulating commercial benefits and value creation (financial and non financial). Finding ways to leverage our technology investments in the design of fit for purpose solutioning that brings our team value proposition to life to unlock meaningful careers for our team and accelerate business performance is critical to success.
In this role you will:
Partner deeply with the portfolio People Director, People Leads, TXPs and business leaders to understand business strategies and portfolio people plans.
Shape, plan and prioritise outcomes and solutions into an annual roadmap with clear value drivers and success metrics, measuring progress and adapting as needed to respond to business priorities and needs.
Find ways to bundle solutioning to address common opportunities and challenges across the portfolios whilst recognising what needs to be uniquely tailored.
Leverage data and insights and human centred design principles to steer the team in the design of fit for purpose solutions.
Identify the skills and capabilities we need in our squads to deliver the work and partner with business value teams and chapter leads to allocate capacity based on prioritisation.
Streamline interactions between the Careers Tribes, Practices and Business Value Teams creating a more efficient and intuitive approach whilst removing duplication.
Lead the integrated delivery of work across the squads within the portfolio.
Be an integral part of the Career Solutions Tribe leadership team helping shape our approach, consulting methodology and tools and coaching and guiding our team to perform at their best and thrive in a supportive environment.
What you’ll bring
Bringing your strategic thinking, problem solving skills and commercial acumen while applying sound judgement. You are also highly skilled in orchestration and delivery of outcomes whilst navigating multiple stakeholders and diverse perspectives to achieve common goals, you will also bring:
Collaborative and commercial partnering approach with the ability to ‘hold the tension’ in prioritisation and solutioning to achieve win-win outcomes
Exposure to program management and contributing to or leading transformation programs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to frame complex information in a simple way to enable decision making and gain alignment
Expertise in anticipating and removing roadblocks and impediments to delivery, identifying and mitigating risks
Exposure to human centred design principles to solutioning (desirable)
A passion for - and a solid understanding of - careers trends and team experience career journeys.
A good understanding of agile models, planning and solutioning
