We are Woolworths Group

We are Woolworths Group. 200,000+ bright minds, passionate hearts and unique perspectives connected by a shared Purpose – ‘to create better experiences together for a better tomorrow.’ It’s that Purpose that fuels our ambition to explore new ideas, make brave commitments and innovate better ways to meet the food and everyday needs of more than 24 million customers every week.

If you’re excited to turn today’s blue sky thinking into a better tomorrow for future generations, you’ll find yourself supported and enriched in a dynamic, inclusive and empowering workplace that reflects the diverse communities we serve. With a culture of genuine care, a flexible approach to work and opportunities across the group to grow your career and make a meaningful impact, the possibilities for what we can achieve together are endless.

What you'll do

  • Define and drive a clear technology product strategy and roadmap for the Product Catalogue & Discovery Sub-Domain, which includes the technology product roadmaps for our Product Data, Search, and Pricing & Promotions services.
  • Lead a team of Technical Business Analysts and collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and business stakeholders to drive the effectiveness of our Common Technology solutions across the Group.
  • Create a world-class, integrated platform that seamlessly manages the journey from master data ingestion and product information management (PIM/DAM), through to intelligent search and discovery, and finally to optimised pricing and promotion evaluation.

What you'll bring

  • Proven experience leading and inspiring cross-functional teams, driving technology product strategy, and delivering successful technology product outcomes in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Understand the concepts of “well-architected” and “well-designed” software solutions so that you can help the engineering teams plan for these outcomes from the outset.  You will be able to guide the Technical Business Analysts in drafting conceptual solutions to the needs set out by business partners.  You will be able to advocate to other parts of the Group for our team’s ability to achieve these outcomes, so that we accelerate towards Common solutions
  • Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of the platforms and products within this sub-domain. Experience with Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM), enterprise search technologies, and pricing/promotions engines is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technology product vision, strategy, and roadmaps to stakeholders at all levels, fostering a shared understanding and buy-in.

What you’ll experience

Our Team Members are at the heart of everything we do and we’re always looking for ways to support your career journey and reward great work:

  • A progressive and flexible ‘work from anywhere’ policy that gives you control over your work, life and wellbeing.
  • Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
  • An attractive remuneration package
  • A range of programs to help you prioritise and manage your wellbeing, including a competitive leave policy and 24/7 access to the Sonder app.

Applications close - Wednesday the 30th of July
