Key Account Manager - Ambient & General Merchandise 


  • Maintain, develop and profitably grow and create new relationships with Primary Connect customers
  • Based in our Norwest Head Office
  • Hybrid role 3 days per week in office

Primary Connect+ is our retailer-agnostic, technology-driven commercial business within Primary Connect. Our team works together to provide end-to-end supply chain solutions for more than 1,300 food and retail customers.


What you’ll do

  • Support the Business Development team in executing the Primary Connect growth strategy 
  • Support the achievement of commodity financial targets with accountability for specific Revenue and gross margin targets for defined customer portfolio.
  • Maintain and grow strong, effective and collaborative strategic relationships with allocated Temperature Control customers 
  • Work closely with the PC+ Operations, Customer Service and Network teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions
  • Accountable for the retention of all accounts and managing customer performance.
  • Manage and foster the relationship(s) with the Replenishment team (ISPs) to create advocacy and support for the Primary Connect+ value proposition.


What you’ll bring

  • Proven experience in logistics or as an account manager within the transport or manufacturing industry
  • 3-5 years of experience in a relationship facing role
  • The ability to build strategic, sustainable, trusting relationships
  • Be able to problem solve, demonstrating drive and urgency
  • Commercial and analytical acumen
  • Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
