What You’ll Do


This is a technical role to build and execute multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.This role would be best suited to a front-end developer or email developer with some automation experience.


This role is hands-on and involves key stakeholder management. The Own Channel Delivery Specialist must be able to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. They must work well under pressure, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of campaigns & initiatives.


The role sits within the Digital Media Agency, whose goal it is to establish an industry leading Digital Media team and scale our Digital Media Advertising, Trading and Data Driven Delivery capabilities to drive incremental customer, supplier and business value.

As part of the Own Channel Delivery Chapter, the role  focuses on optimised data driven delivery of campaigns across all owned channels that is ‘Customer 1st’.


Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Build and execute multi-channel campaigns across email, push, landing pages, and app, utilising approved templates, HTML/CSS, and AMPscript for dynamic personalisation.
  • Set up and manage segmented email lifecycle series, including automated triggers and complex email programs, with a focus on a one-to-one communications approach.
  • Execute campaigns in alignment with the marketing calendar, ensuring all activities are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high quality-assurance standards for copy and legal accuracy.
  • Implement robust testing and proofing processes across various platforms and browsers to maintain deliverability and high-quality digital experiences.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to communicate campaign opportunities and technical advances aimed at driving incremental customer lifetime value.


What You’ll Bring


  • Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Enterprise Email Management Systems, including leading the design, development, and launch of complex campaigns.
  • Expert technical proficiency in HTML, CSS, and AMPscript, with additional knowledge of JSON being highly desirable.
  • Strong data and analytical skills, including experience working with customer databases, complex datasets, and lifecycle management to drive customer-centric outcomes.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of communication, with the ability to translate technical concepts for stakeholders and manage those relationships effectively.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work in a timely manner within a fast-paced environment, focusing on robust testing and quality assurance.
