The Opportunity


As Operations Manager you will drive state-level performance and operational excellence by leading, coaching, and aligning Group Managers with strategic objectives. The zone encompasses the Brisbane CBD, Northern Suburbs, and the Sunshine Coast up to Harvey bay, regions of QLD.


What you’ll do  


A high-impact leadership position, this role will see you leading a diverse and inclusive team managing multi-million dollar weekly trade, shaping customer experience, and cultivating strong community ties.


  • Cultivate a leadership team that motivates Store Managers to prioritize customer excellence 
  • Support zone leaders in understanding strategic goals and the best ways to bring them to life
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across the business to lead strategic initiatives and raise operational standards 
  • Transform customer insights into data-driven efficiencies and high performance
  • Proactively forge a diverse, sustainable pipeline of top-tier leadership talent 
  • Embrace a flexible leadership approach, to effectively meet the diverse requirements of the team

  • Extensive Multi-site capability at national, state or large regional operations management level, within a retail environment
  • The ability to build, coach, motivate and inspire large, inclusive operational teams
  • Strong engagement and influencing skills with executive presence
  • Successful implementation, support and execution of change practices
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to interpret, prioritise and guide effective business outcomes
