About us
Construction is now well underway for our new Sydney Chilled and Fresh Distribution Center (SC&F). Located in Eastern Creek NSW SC&F is the latest distribution centre being added to the Primary Connect Network. The 75,000sqm multi-story facility will transform our chilled and fresh operations in Sydney, ensuring we deliver exceptional freshness, quality and range to our customers

What you’ll do

• Play a key role in DC transition activities, including system testing, commissioning and the development of new SOPs and work instructions
• Develop and implement processes and strategies to achieve operational excellence, with a focus on safety, quality and efficiency.
• Continuously improve our supply chain processes and performance, leveraging data and analytics to drive insights and inform decision-making.
• Build and develop a high-performing operations team, providing coaching and development opportunities to support their growth and success.
• Ensure consistent practices exist within the DC and across the Primary Connect network

What you’ll bring

• Background in operational leadership within FMCG, distribution, retail or large-scale people management
• A track record of leading and implementing change initiatives.
• Strong financial and business sense with the ability to manage complex operations effectively.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma or lean processing principles 
• Proven track record of delivering operational excellence in complex and matrixed organisation
• Deep understanding of safety protocols and risk management, with a commitment to ensuring that safety is embedded in all aspects of operations.
