What you’ll do
The Media Planner will develop holistic media and channel plans for campaigns and programmes across paid and owned media for marketing teams within the Woolworths Group
Additionally you will;
- Develop best-in-class, strategic media plans that serve as a single source of truth for all stakeholders across both paid and owned media campaigns.
- Manage and maintain accountability for paid media budgets and billing, while also understanding and leveraging the value of owned media.
- Conduct ongoing assessment of media and channel performance to drive continual improvement and inform the initial media planning perspective for new marketing briefs.
- Ensure a clear role for each channel and placement in the plans, providing feedback on creative assets to guarantee compliance with best practices.
- Embed new ways of working and marketing technology (including MRM and Ariba) across internal and external teams, providing management and feedback to necessary stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- Reasonable understanding (3+ years) of the media landscape and media planning principles
- Ability to work cross functionally, representing the team and its expertise effectively
- Understand the finance process - billing, reconciling and forecasting
- Strong relationships with Comms planning and owned channel owners internally
