As a team, we leverage Agile ways of working to help our team develop their skills while also making sure our team is focusing on solving the most complex problems for both our customers and team.


What you’ll do

 

As part of the WiQ team within Woolworths Group is responsible for unlocking the power of data to reimagine retail, working directly with Cartology. This role will leverage Woolworths data assets to generate insights to understand retail media performance and help generate deep-dives and insights for Cartology sales, strategy, product teams and clients. This role will act as a business point of contact to translate insights into recommendations and continuously partner with the business particularly the Cartology sales team to explore sales/ campaign opportunities, campaign planning and optimisation  and campaign reporting.

 


 

  • Provide insights, performance measurements and campaign analysis as an input into campaign planning and marketing lifecycle. Present detailed commentary and recommend actions based on the generated insights
  • Partner with the Sales and Product teams and act as an analytics expert across the client portfolio. Generate actionable insights for brands and clients
  • Responsible for stakeholder management and closely partner across the wider Cartology team to ensure insights and analysis are understood, presented and used in the right way to create incremental impact on media business growth 
  • Understand problem statements and perform root cause analysis. Articulate findings in a business understandable language
  • Develop new insights that can be leveraged to drive decisions
  • Identify and lead opportunities to streamline, automate existing processes
  • Create insights presentations using a data driven approach aligned to business goals


What you’ll bring

We are looking for an experienced analyst, with a combination of technical skills for data analysis and communication skills to influence and establish relationships with stakeholders. Previous knowledge of the media industry and campaign metrics would be highly beneficial but not essential.

 

 

  • Proven experience in SQL (advanced to expert level), with ability to work with a variety of data sources
  • Demonstrable hands-on analytics experience - generating actionable insights and doing data deep-dives
  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI) in generating self service reporting is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, establish and maintain strong relationships with senior management, internal partners and external clients
  • Ability to translate data to digestible insights for B2B media sales and client campaign recommendations and presentations
