What you'll do
As a Marketing Manager (Clothing), your mission is to grow BIG W’s customer base by championing our hero categories: Womenswear and Kidswear.
In a highly competitive landscape, you will lead the charge against general merchandise and specialist retailers to capture market share. By blending creative innovation with data-driven strategies, you will drive the growth of our clothing portfolio while ensuring every initiative ladders up to our broader brand vision and business objectives. This is a pivotal role for a strategic marketer who is ready to make BIG W the first choice for Australian families
Support the end to end Marketing plan of Clothing business through leading and managing the delivery of assigned marketing projects and partnering with cross functional stakeholders (eg. Marketing agencies, BIG W X, Channel leads, commercial and design teams).
Lead always-on and trade marketing activity through product nominations and category insights.
Partner closely with Social, PR, Media and Customer Experience Teams to deliver outcomes for clothing and wider business.
All BIG W Marketers are brand champions - ensuring all our touchpoints reflect our brand strategy and CVP.
What you'll bring
A natural collaborator, you build trust with stakeholders across Commercial and Digital teams to ensure a seamless, customer-first experience across every touchpoint. You are a commercially-minded marketer who thrives in fast-paced retail, with proven experience turning category insights into high-impact customer and trade activity.
A disciplined and detail-oriented project manager you expertly navigate the critical path to deliver end-to-end projects on time and within budget.
Key skills, attributes and desirable experience includes:
Previous marketing experience for a successful retail business with a proven focus on customer.
End-to-end channel and communications planning, demonstrating extensive experience in taking campaigns to market.
Translating customer insights into effective communication and creative frameworks that connect meaningfully with customers.
Data storytelling, including the ability to read data and craft compelling narratives.
Experience working with known and trusted brands and/or retailers.
Experience in strategic planning in a marketing context and ability to influence outcomes in a cross-functional environment.
