What You’ll Do


As the Marketing Executive, Digital Trade and Local Area, you will be responsible for executing campaigns and initiatives that encourage customers and members to engage with our digital propositions to grow eCom sales across our Food and Marketplace businesses, in local markets and nationally.


You will leverage data and insights to deliver personalised and targeted campaigns that are timely, engaging and value-driven. You will work across the full spectrum of media and communication channels, including but not limited to affiliates, website / app, email and catalogue, to increase customer engagement with eCom and the broader Woolworths Group.


Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Campaign Management: Deliver integrated marketing campaigns that align with the Digital Trade and Local Area strategic plan, ensuring all activity supports broader business objectives and the digital customer acquisition plan.
  • Customer-Centric Personalisation: Utilise customer insights and data to deliver personalised, relevant, and valuable communications to members while strictly adhering to ethical data compliance and standards.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the end-to-end campaign process, including prioritising team cadences, identifying bottlenecks early, and maintaining a mindset of continuous improvement through testing and learning.
  • Financial Responsibility: Manage campaign budgets within approved envelopes, including raising Purchase Orders, participating in monthly reconciliations, and tracking performance against KPIs to share actionable insights.
  • Team Culture & Capability: Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment through open communication and knowledge sharing while actively pursuing personal growth and development.


What You’ll Bring


  • Proven experience managing end-to-end, multi-channel marketing campaigns and working with media and creative agencies to deliver results.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive insights, inform decision-making, and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, planning, and organisational abilities to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the interpersonal ability to effectively manage a broad network of stakeholders.
  • A results-oriented commercial mindset with the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
