What you’ll do
As our Macro Space Analyst, you will be a key player in driving strategic initiatives that shape our customers' shopping experience and optimise our retail space. You will dive deep into complex business challenges, leveraging data-driven insights to inform range and space strategies that directly impact our commercial success. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-visibility projects and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organisation.
Conduct structured analysis and problem-solving to identify strategic opportunities, considering store specifics, customer behavior, market trends, category performance, and pricing dynamics
Partner with commercial teams (Analysts, Leads, Category Managers) and key stakeholders (Heads Of, Managers) to analyse data, uncover insights, and provide actionable recommendations that shape our range and space strategies
Extract, analyse, and interpret data from GCP databases (SAP, Blue Yonder, Shopper Intelligence, Quantium, Buying Insight) to generate actionable insights and recommendations aligned with strategic objectives
Apply advanced analytics within space optimisation tools to develop recommendations that enhance customer experience while maximising commercial and strategic outcomes
Identify and champion opportunities for continuous improvement, driving customer satisfaction and commercial success through effective space optimisation
Collaborate with the Macro Space delivery squad to execute key outcomes and recommendations for strategic programs, particularly those with complex range and space considerations
What you’ll bring
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail to break down complex information, identify patterns, and understand interrelationships
The ability to translate data into actionable insights that drive both short-term and long-term strategies
Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with strong visual, verbal, and written presentation abilities
Adaptability to work both collaboratively and independently, managing multiple workstreams effectively.
Eagerness to learn and expand knowledge of data analysis tools, including SQL, Quantium, Nielsen, Shopper Intelligence, IRI or equivalent
Proficient Google Sheets skills and use of intermediate functions (pivot tables, formulas, conditional formatting)
