What you’ll do
- Develop and oversee detailed transition plans for inventory flow during network transitions e.g. site openings, closures, and 3PL migrations.
- Ensure total integrity of inventory (Balance On Hand) links between SAP, WMS, and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS)
- Provide expert inventory design support for automated sites, from initial design through to commissioning.
- Act as the primary conduit between internal operations —including Systems, Operations, and IT—with external automation providers (e.g., Dematic), 3PL partners, and software vendors to ensure systematic integrity and operational readiness during complex network transitions.
- Partner with the Replenishment teams to define and deploy specific inventory processes for contingency sites to maintain best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and manage optimal changes in inventory flows and contingency plans to enhance network resilience
What you’ll bring
- Strong operational experience in inventory management with a focus on transition management.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP and WMS/WCS interfaces; you must understand end-to-end system integration not just as a user.
- Proven understanding of DC environments and the requirements for systematic inventory synchronisation.
- A high level of attention to detail with the ability to use data
- Proven success partnering cross-functionally
- Good communication skills to translate complex operational requirements into technical specifications for IT and automation partners.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, define, and implement process improvement initiatives within a technical framework.
