What you'll do

The Inventory Executive plays a critical role in ensuring advertising inventory is accurately structured, governed, and optimised across internal systems. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, operations, and technology, and is responsible for maintaining inventory integrity, supporting scalable growth, and enabling efficient campaign execution.

The role requires a highly organised, methodical operator who is comfortable working with systems, processes, and data, while also managing stakeholder requests.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Inventory & System Management:  Setting up, governing, and maintaining all advertising inventory structures within order and inventory management systems. Key tasks include creating ad specifications, configuring inventory rules (pricing, capacity, compliance), and actively managing availability for network changes and system updates.

  • Operational Support & Enablement: Serving as the contact for Sales, Product, and Campaign Operations to manage inventory requests and issues. Duties include managing the inbox, distributing availability and booking reports, and supporting Campaign Operations with data and risk identification.

  • Process, Governance & Documentation: Maintaining and updating core inventory documentation (rate cards, media schedules, reports) and enforcing governance standards. Drive continuous improvement to increase scalability, reduce manual effort, and minimize operational risk through better processes and design.

What you’ll bring

Success in this role comes from attention to detail, strong process thinking, and the ability to balance commercial priorities with operational discipline. In detail, you'll need to demonstrate:

  • Organisational & Operational Discipline: Exceptional attention to detail, highly organised, methodical, and dependable, with the ability to work within clearly defined processes.

  • Communication & Stakeholder Management: Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills, capable of working collaboratively with a wide range of people.

  • Problem-Solving: Possesses practical problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset.

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (intermediate Excel/Sheets preferred), with a comfort level in learning new systems and adapting to evolving tools.

  • Autonomy & Adaptability: Capable of managing multiple requests and priorities in a fast-paced environment and operating autonomously while knowing when to escalate issues.

  • Relevant Experience (Desirable): Exposure to advertising, media, marketing operations, or inventory/campaign operations, and experience with inventory, CRM, or reporting systems.
