What you’ll do
As an Insights Analyst within the WiQ Loyalty business unit, you will support the delivery of high-value analytics and insights across the Everyday Rewards portfolio. Working on priority projects by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and compelling narratives that inform decision-making. Contribute to structuring and solving ambiguous business problems, partner closely with stakeholders to support successful outcomes, and play an active role in embedding a data-driven culture across the business.
Support end-to-end analytics delivery for marketing and loyalty initiatives within a defined stream of the Loyalty business unit.
Break down ambiguous problem statements into structured hypotheses and analytical approaches to guide insight development.
Transform data into actionable insights and clear narratives that support commercial decisions and deliver business value.
Partner with business stakeholders (e.g. tribe leads, squad leads, and project sponsors) to understand objectives, scope, and success measures for assigned initiatives.
Contribute to the ongoing capability uplift of the WiQ Analytics & Insights team through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best-practice analytics.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for an Insights Analyst to support the delivery of analytics and insights that inform commercial decision-making across WiQ and the broader Woolworths Group. This role partners closely with Lead and Senior Analysts to deliver high-quality insights, working with a range of stakeholders to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations. The analyst will contribute to end-to-end analytics pieces, applying structured problem-solving and strong communication to help drive business outcomes.
Experience working in analytics and insights, ideally within retail, loyalty, or FMCG environments.
Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to support commercial decisions and deliver tangible business value.
Capability to break down ambiguous business questions into structured problem statements, hypotheses, and analytical approaches.
Strong ability to translate analytical outputs into clear insights and narratives tailored to non-technical stakeholders.
Working understanding of retail and customer fundamentals, including customer drivers and high-level B2C performance levers.
Experience partnering with stakeholders across different functions, with developing confidence in influencing and managing expectations.
Practical experience with analytical and statistical techniques such as A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and basic regression.
Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python is desirable but not essential.
