What you’ll do
- Curate, create and develop customer first ranges for multiple categories each season, managing the design and development of products within the Own Brand portfolio
- Partner collaboratively with the Category Managers and other commercial stakeholders to deeply understand and influence range strategy, option plan and brand, using clear researched global and local market intel and trend intelligence to identify design opportunity.
- Communicate design direction and concept through organised design boards, detailed briefs and clear product specifications, delivering skilled rendered design concepts in 2D rendered line drawings for feedback and approval or working with a partnering Product Developer to produce these.
- Brief the Packaging Team on fit-for-purpose, customer-first packaging, that communicates the product Features & Benefits. Partner E2E to ensure features and benefits are validated.
- Deliver products that comply with all necessary product safety, quality and responsible sourcing standards. Work closely with Quality and Sustainability partners to understand key category frameworks.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in designing Hard products is essential.
- Technical understanding of product design & production processes
- Experience partnering with a global supply base and working cross functionally with various internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of the domestic and international market and competitive landscape
- Strong Creative Cloud experience; Illustrator and Photoshop
