The Opportunity 

 

The Head of Supply Solutions stands at the forefront of Woolworths' Supply Chain transformation, leading a matrix team of experts to revolutionise our infrastructure and propel us into the future. This role requires both  technical expertise and visionary leadership, strategic thinking, and a collaborative spirit. 

 

What you’ll do 

 

As the Head of Supply Solutions, you will be the architect of our infrastructure developments, setting the strategic direction for transformational endeavours. You will guide the development of innovative infrastructure models, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and future-proof. Your leadership will empower your team to continuously improve existing operations, make significant investments, optimising performance and maximising value for our business and ecosystem partners.

  • Cultivate and sustain a high-performance team in a matrix structure, focusing on leadership, well-being, individual growth and development, diversity, retention, and performance management.

  • Own key business and ecosystem partnerships on behalf of Primary Connect.,ensuring alignment of requirements and delivery of desired capabilities and services.

  • Secure organisational commitment and alignment for solutions that deliver optimal business outcomes, particularly for projects of significant investment 

  • Oversee the development of our Supply Chain infrastructure, from strategy and concept through Board approval.

  • Maintain a sharp focus on ensuring all developments adhere to plan and achieve business case objectives

 

What you'll bring 

 

  • You’ll be an Industry recognised leader with over 15 years experience in the leadership of large scale and complex Supply Chain Development programs. 

  • You’ll  possess extensive experience and the  ability to operate effectively within highly complex organisational and project environments.

  • Operational working knowledge, and expertise in recognising paths for optimisation for productivity and flow

  • Experience analysing DC Design and Automation solution development

  • Proven leadership skills to inspire and guide a diverse team of highly competent and engaged professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

  • Ability to effective navigate and influence across Woolworths Group and Primary Connect partner stakeholder matrix with ease, reaching up to Business Director level 

  • Sharp business acumen that allows you to grasp the implications of proposed solutions, making informed decisions that drive positive outcomes.

  • Experience directing  and representing business case modelling, demonstrating financial acumen that ensures sound financial planning and investment decisions.

  • Deep operational knowledge and expertise that enable you to identify and implement optimisation strategies, enhancing productivity and flow across the organisation.
