What you’ll do
Drive the development and implementation of the State Facilities Management strategy for Queensland that aligns with the overarching business objectives and sustainability initiatives.
Manage a substantial budget, actively seeking cost saving opportunities and ensuring all financial targets are met.
Lead, coach and mentor a large diverse team of approximately 3,000 employees and contractors, with 4 direct reports.
Oversee end to end delivery of facilities services including, maintenance trolleys and cleaning, ensuring the highest standards for our customers.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion and safety across the facilities teams.
Build and maintain strong partnerships across the business and with external service providers to support business success and enhance the customer and team experience.
What you'll bring
You’ll be a leader with a proven track record in a complex, large scale senior leadership role.
Experience in facilities, retail, supermarket or FMCG is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex work environments and lead geographically dispersed teams.
Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills.
Experience in managing and leading complex change and business initiatives.
A proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with diverse senior stakeholders
Knowledge of compliance requirements, including Australian standards and statutory provisions
