What you’ll do


Cartology is recruiting for a Group Sales Manager to lead a Victoria’s Holding Corporation agency portfolio. You will work closely with agencies to leverage the Woolworths data offering and Cartology retail out of home network, providing a positive customer service experience to ensure campaign objectives are met and revenue targets achieved. 


The successful candidate will be a collaborative self-starter with at least 8 years experience in OOH and/or digital advertising sales or relevant business development leadership function. Cartology is looking for an inspirational team player capable of working within a fast paced and demanding environment. 


You will play a critical role in supporting our ambition to become a tier 1 media business and help unlock the value of Cartology’s unique data and effectiveness position.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Commercial Growth: Drive consistent revenue performance by meeting and exceeding targets through a positive customer service experience and a robust Woolworths data offering.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Utilise an advisory sales approach to identify new business opportunities and develop long-term partnerships that solve complex client challenges.
  • Business Planning & Reporting: Lead unified planning efforts by developing accurate quarterly and annual business action plans to ensure long-term commercial sustainability.
  • Market & Agency Engagement: Act as an "Endemic Champion," leveraging deep industry expertise to engage agency teams on strategic issues and unlock cross-channel partnership opportunities.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and mentor a high-performance team of 3+ direct reports while partnering internally to evolve the Cartology offering and service agency needs.


 What you’ll bring


  • Proven Sales Leadership: Extensive experience in media/advertising sales and business development, with a demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to develop and execute robust business plans designed to deepen agency engagement and scale commercial outcomes.
  • Established Agency Network: Strong existing relationships at the senior level across major media agencies to facilitate immediate market impact.
  • Advanced Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, characterised by a high level of detail, strong follow-through, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Adaptive & Collaborative Mindset: A collaborative self-starter comfortable navigating both fast-paced entrepreneurial environments and established corporate structures.
