What you’ll do

Ensure all products(Fruit & Veg) meet quality specifications prior to purchase, and drive category sales to support budget delivery (best deals and offers for customers and for Woolworths).


Also, you’ll be responsible for

  • Negotiate competitive pricing to achieve the right customer and financial outcomes
  • Manage operational stakeholders and build effective stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
  • Partner with a large number of suppliers and stakeholders to communicate seasonality/ seasonal adjustments
  • Ensure stores’ stock requirements are met, and manage DC(Distribution Centre) stock levels to company standards while delivering to inventory targets


What you’ll bring

  • Previous experience in Buying is highly regarded, however administration experience is required to ensure you are set up for success
  • A broad skill set in stakeholder management and problem solve 
  • An ability to manage admin systems which includes forecast planning and data analysis
  • Demonstrated the ability to negotiate and influence with cross functional and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines with tight time constraints and prioritise work
