The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our CRM Enablement engineering team within GroupIT. This team partners closely with our business stakeholders to design, deliver and operate our customer CRM platform (Salesforce) – enabling hundreds of Woolworths Group agents to provide exceptional service to our customers.
As Engineering Manager, you will balance people leadership with technical design – growing the capability of our engineers while ensuring we deliver secure, scalable, and innovative CRM solutions. You’ll lead a high-performing team of developers/engineers, building tools and workflows that increase agent productivity and customer satisfaction.
Key deliverables:

Lead, coach and inspire a team of ~10 engineers across Salesforce development, automation, and integration.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs, prioritise features, and deliver value
Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
Deliver resilient, secure, and scalable CRM solutions using Salesforce and related technologies.
Ensure Design and development to industry best practise standards.
Drive automation and integration initiatives to enhance agent productivity.
Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of CRM features – from design and build, through testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
Partner with architecture teams to align delivery to target state platforms and roadmaps.
What You’ll Bring
Proven leadership of medium-to-large engineering teams, preferably in CRM or enterprise platform environments.
Strong Salesforce development and integration experience (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, APIs, automation).
Solid grasp of engineering and architectural patterns (Microservices, API-first, Node, React, etc.).
Proficient in Agile delivery methods and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
