What you’ll do 

Reporting to the Senior EUC Technician, this role will see you provide support excellence, service availability, and performance of all Woolworths Group end-user computing devices. You will provide both in-person and remote technical support and solutions for user computing devices as well as collaborate closely with Product Owners to ensure the supportability of user devices and address any needs.

You will:

  • Provide quality technical support services to all customers in a professional, responsive and effective manner for computing hardware, software applications, mobility devices and numerous other technology solutions

  • Perform EUC capabilities at State Tech Centres (where applicable)

  • Gain assistance from or assign/escalate incidents and problems to appropriate support groups to ensure timely resolution

  • Investigate and triage user issues, irrespective of geography

  • Use the ServiceNow application for interaction, problem and incident management during service restoration activities.

  • Perform IT equipment patching and manage comms room access for structured cabling and patching.

  • Provide onsite coordination and implementation with the installation of any new network infrastructure that is to be installed at Data Centre, office and warehouse sites, while ensuring that all changes are reflected in the Woolworths change management system.

  • Provide initial analysis to problems with network infrastructure and ensure that these are referred onto Vendors or Support Teams in a timely manner.

  • Implement and support Nationally developed IT policies , Standards and initiatives across all local IT systems and platforms

 

What you’ll bring

  • Ability to cross collaborate with other essential partners both internally and external to the organisation

  • Strong understanding of Google Chrome and other Google services

  • Innovative thinking and analysis that influences a more productive environment for our customers

  • Proven technical troubleshooting skills

  • IT Service Operations (eg. ITIL) experience

  • Proven experience in Desktop Computing and Service Desk operations.

  • Operational or project delivery experience working with IT service providers and other stakeholders

  • Relevant degree qualification or equivalent
