The Opportunity
We are looking for a commercially savvy retail professional with a passion for building high-impact relationships. A hands-on Digital Trading Manager to own the commercial performance and digital execution for our key partners, including BWS and Healthy Life.
In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our partners and our platform, ensuring every promotion lands perfectly and every digital shelf is optimised for growth.
What you’ll do
As the central point of contact for our key partnerships, you will manage the end-to-end digital lifecycle of their brands. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Commercial Trade Execution: You’ll own the promotional calendar—configuring, testing, and launching digital promotions and coupon codes with 100% accuracy.
- Strategic Optimisation: You won’t just execute; you’ll analyse. You’ll deep-dive into the frequency, depth, and funding of offers to ensure market-leading ROI and customer value.
- Stakeholder & Partner Management: You will build proactive relationships with BWS and Healthy Life, negotiating promotional investments and aligning on shared KPIs.
- Digital Merchandising: You’ll maintain "content hygiene" (product info, images, and navigation) and manage product availability, including stock settings and purchasing limits.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partnering with Trade Planning, Customer Growth, and Digital Merchandise teams to remove blockers and ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Operational Excellence: You’ll provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on new partner initiatives and constantly evolve our processes to work smarter.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a collaborative "doer" who thrives in fast-paced retail environments. To succeed, you will need:
- A Commercial Mindset: You understand the levers that drive digital sales and know how to use onsite tactics (like banner placement and event space) to amplify results.
- Meticulous Attention to Detail: Whether it’s product group creation or price verification, you pride yourself on getting the small things right every time.
- Relationship Expertise: You are a natural negotiator who can manage partner expectations while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: You are comfortable using insights to ensure promotional offers are customer-led and deliver a strong commercial return.
- Retail Experience: Ideally, you come from a retail background and understand the nuances of digital trading and "shelf" management.
- Proactive Problem Solving: You don’t wait for things to happen—you partner proactively to get things done and remove friction.
What you’ll experience
Our Team Members are at the heart of everything we do and we’re always looking for ways to support your career journey and reward great work:
- A commitment to flexibility through a hybrid working model which combines time spent at a support office or hub and time working from home, supporting both in-person connection and balancing the flexibility that remote working provides for our teams
- High-impact role supporting our teams who enrich our communities.
- A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.
- A range of programs to help you prioritise and manage your wellbeing, including 24/7 access to the Sonder app.
- A progressive and competitive leave policy that gives you more space for what matters to you.
- Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.
