What you’ll do

Join us as a Digital Merchandising Specialist to elevate our online shopping experience by using data-driven insights to boost sales and deliver exceptional value to every customer.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Roadmap Execution: Deliver the actions associated with the agreed Digital Merchandising Operations roadmap, such as trading and optimising category homepages.
  • Asset & Lever Management & Optimisation: Manage and continuously improve core digital merchandising assets, including search and browse pinning , aisle updates and assets such as product carousels. Identify opportunities to improve asset efficiency and throughput.
  • Event execution & optimisation: Lead execution for key events utilising appropriate levers to deliver optimal results ensuring both customer and business objectives are achieved.
  • Commercial Support: Support Category Trade Plans and Supplier Joint Plans to accelerate sales and drive core basket metrics (spend and items per basket).
  • Data & Insights: Review and analyse digital insights regarding activity, assets, and locations. Provide weekly performance insights to partner stakeholders, deliver clear reporting during and post-events, and conduct regular eCom health checks (e.g., images, product content, search terms).
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships and partner with various teams across Food eCom, including Digital commercial trade, Trade Planning, Digital engagement, Customer Growth, Cartology, and Marketplace.


What you’ll bring

You possess more than 2 years of proven expertise and a deep understanding of grocery or eCommerce retailing.


Key Skills and Experience:

  • Commerce Expertise: Bring 3+ years of experience in eCommerce or grocery retail, with a solid grasp of digital merchandising capabilities to drive results.
  • Analytical & Organized: Utilize your high attention to detail to manage complex tasks and leverage proficiency in Google Suite (Slides and Sheets) to track performance.
  • Collaborative Stakeholder Management: Build meaningful partnerships across the business to align on goals and execute high-impact digital trade plans.
  • Agile Problem Solver: Thrive in a fast-paced environment, keeping calm under tight timelines while proactively identifying opportunities to optimize the online shopping experience
