What you'll do

As a Digital Content Specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality digital content across the Woolworths app and website, with a strong focus on content accuracy, operational excellence, and product enrichment. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role, working primarily within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to publish content and support day-to-day content operations.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring that our digital shelves are accurate, engaging, and up to date, helping customers find what they need and shop with confidence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Publish, update, and maintain digital content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for the Woolworths app and website.

  • Enrich and manage product content including images, copy, tags, and attributes to improve searchability, accuracy, and customer understanding.

  • Build promotional banners, homepage placements, landing pages, and merchandising content based on provided briefs and schedules.

  • Execute content changes with a high degree of precision, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and accessibility standards.

  • Perform quality assurance checks across multiple devices and formats (mobile, desktop, app) to ensure correct rendering and functionality.

  • Troubleshoot content issues or discrepancies and escalate as needed.

  • Manage content scheduling and version control to support key trading and promotional events.

  • Support testing and rollout of new templates, modules, and CMS features in collaboration with the content and product teams.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of experience in a digital content authoring or web publishing role.

  • Strong technical proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar enterprise CMS.

  • Experience working with structured product data, content tagging, and metadata to improve product presentation and discoverability.

  • Familiarity with content operations in a high-volume retail, eCommerce, or digital publishing environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.

  • Ability to follow defined content processes and publishing schedules with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Understanding of responsive content and digital accessibility best practices.

     What you’ll experience

  • A progressive and flexible ‘Work from Anywhere’ policy that gives you more control over your work, life and wellbeing.

  • A global business with endless career possibilities around every corner and across every discipline – with valuable exposure to a vast and exciting business network.

  • Team discounts across our range of Woolworths Group brands you know and love and a robust rewards program that celebrates and incentivises purpose-driven work.

  • 12 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers plus paid superannuation for up to 12 months while the Team Member is on parental leave - eligible from the first day of employment
